We’re looking to grow our team with the best talent in Montgomery County. No speed skating experience necessary—just solid forward crossovers. Bring a bike helmet (preferred) or hockey helmet,comfortable, but not baggy pants, gloves, a long-sleeved shirt, zip jacket and a water bottle with your name on it. congratulations to all of our skaters! Yoni and Conor placed 2nd and 4th in their 1000m. Andrew and Joseph placed 2nd and 3rd in the 777m. Katie and Alan took 2nd place in their 500m also Lorenzo and James placed 3rd in their 500m.

2013 U.S. Junior National Short Track Speedskating Championshops

Congrats to Potomac skaters Amanda Trimble and Shaner LeBauer 5th and 6th places respectively in the 2013 US Jr National ST Championships! Benjamin Oh also finished in the top 10 of the 2013 US Junior National Championships with a 9th place overall in Group 1 Men. In the Junior Men Group 2 event, Aaron Heo finished in 5th place overall, followed by Roen Riehl in 7th, Conor McDermott-Mostowy in 15th and Yoni Subin in 16th.Congratulations to a rising star-Gabriella Hachem, winner of the Group 2 Junior Women's category. Special congratulations to our honorary Potomac Speedskating Club skater Lexi Burkholder who made her 2nd US Junior World ST Speedskating team today with a 3rd place in the Jr Women's Group 1 division.
